Step-by-Step Setup

 

Create an account

Sign up for a Bantay Pusta account and make sure you have an active license. You can register on the website or directly in the app by tapping “Create An Account.”

 

Log in

Open the app, tap “Login,” and enter your email and password. You’ll see a setup screen with 4 steps. A check mark (✔️) will appear after each step is completed. If a step already has a check mark, you can skip it.

Enable Accessibility


Tap “Enable Accessibility.”
Read the instructions carefully
Tap “Continue” and “I Understand”
In Accessibility settings, enable Bantay Pusta
Do not enable the “Bantay Pusta shortcut”
Return to the Bantay Pusta app

 

Enable Device Admin

Tap “Enable Device Admin,” then press “Activate” to give Bantay Pusta admin permission.

 

Turn on the VPN

Tap “Enable VPN.”
When prompted, choose “OK” or “Activate.”

 

Allow background running

Tap “Run in Background.”
When asked about battery usage, select “Allow.”

 

Finish setup

Go back to the app and tap “Continue.”
You’ll be asked to test the protection by trying to open a few gambling websites or apps.

 

Once setup is complete, your device will be protected from accessing gambling sites and apps.

Before you begin:
Make sure your Samsung phone is using Android Lollipop or higher. Update your phone if needed, then download Bantay Pusta from the Google Play Store.

Installation Steps

Create an Account

Sign up on the Bantay Pusta website or open the app and tap Create an Account. A valid license is required.

Log In

Open the app and log in using your email and password. You will see a 5-step setup.

✅ You can skip steps that already show a check mark.

Enable Accessibility

Tap Enable Accessibility, follow the instructions, and allow Bantay Pusta in your Accessibility settings.
⚠️ Do not enable the Bantay Pusta shortcut. Return to the app after completing this step.

Enable Device Admin

Tap Enable Device Admin, then tap Activate when prompted.

Enable VPN

Tap Enable VPN and press OK or Activate when asked.

Allow Background Use

Tap Run in Background, then select Allow on the battery prompt.

Turn Off Private DNS

Tap Disable Private DNS, then go to:
Settings → More connection settings → Private DNS → Off

Finish Setup

Go back to the app and tap Continue. Test the protection by trying to open a gambling site or app.

✅ Your Samsung device is now protected from gambling websites and apps.

Before you start:

Follow the instructions and finish setup in your phone’s settings.
⚠️ Do not turn on the Bantay Pusta shortcut.
Return to the app when done.

Enable Device Admin

Tap “Enable Device Admin,” then tap “Activate.”

Enable VPN

Tap “Enable VPN,” then select “OK” or “Activate” when prompted.

Allow background use

Tap “Run in Background,” then choose “Allow.”

Optimize your device

Tap “Optimize.”
Wait until it finishes—do not touch your phone during this step.

Test protection

Return to the app and tap “Continue.”
Try opening a few gambling sites to confirm blocking is working.

Your phone is now protected from gambling websites and apps.

Note: Your Android device must be Lollipop or newer.

Download the Bantay Pusta APK using the provided link.

Install the App

  1. Open the downloaded APK from your notifications.
    Allow your browser to install unknown apps, then tap Install.

  2. Android 13+ users:
    Go to Settings > Apps > Bantay Pusta > three dots and enable Allow restricted settings.

  3. Open Bantay Pusta from your app list.

Updating the App

  • When prompted, tap Begin Download.
    Grant permission, allow install unknown apps for Bantay Pusta, then tap Install Now.

Set Up Protection

  1. Create or log in to your Bantay Pusta account (valid license required).

  2. Complete the 4-step setup:

    • Enable Accessibility (do not enable the shortcut)
    • Enable Device Admin
    • Enable VPN
    • Run in Background (allow battery usage)

  3. Tap Continue and test protection by trying to access gambling sites.

Your device is now protected.

How to Install Bantay Pusta on iPhone or iPad (iOS 14+)

 

Before you start:

Set Safari as your default browser
Bantay Pusta cannot be installed on work-managed devices
Make sure your device is using iOS 14 or later
Download the Bantay Pusta app from the App Store

Installation Steps

Create an account in the Bantay Pusta app or on the website and make sure you have a valid license.

Open the app and log in.

Tap “Set Up Bantay Pusta Blocking”, then “Download Bantay Pusta.”
Safari will open.
When asked to open Settings, tap Allow.
When asked to download a profile, tap Allow, then Close once downloaded.

Finish Setup in Settings

Open Settings
Tap General
Tap Profile
Choose Bantay Pusta
Tap Install
Enter your passcode if needed
Tap Install again
Tap Trust when prompted
Tap “Finish setting up Bantay Pusta”, or reopen the app if you don’t see it

✅ Your device is now blocked from gambling apps and websites.

Before you start, please turn off any antivirus software for a short time. Antivirus programs can sometimes block the installation. Also, if your device already has other blocking software, you must remove it first. Bantay Pusta will not work if another blocking tool is installed.
To install Bantay Pusta on a Windows computer, make sure you are using Windows 7 or newer. Then follow these steps:

Go to your Bantay Pusta account page and log in.

After logging in to https://app.bantaypusta.com, download the Bantay Pusta installer for Windows using the link provided.
Find the downloaded file, right‑click it, and choose “Run as Administrator.” Follow the instructions on the screen to install the app.
Restart your computer by turning it off and then on again.

Once finished, your device will be blocked from gambling websites and apps.
